The study programme provides graduates with a broad professional profile and comprehensive, high-quality knowledge enabling them to operate effectively in a multicultural environment, with the prerequisites for successfully managing a basic corporate logistics chain, i.e. a logistics chain consisting of procurement, supply, production, sales, warehousing, and distribution processes, with particular emphasis on operational planning and decision-making functions, record keeping, quality control, and ensuring the system and operation of this logistics chain at lower levels of company management, with opportunities for employment as qualified managerial staff in various functional units of enterprise management or as independent professional specialists in specialised company departments, primarily in corporate transport logistics departments, dispatching, operations, maintenance, and operational and dispatch control, such as operators of large production machines and production lines, planners, operational logisticians, and first-line managers in areas of warehousing, transport, production preparation, manufacturing processes, goods distribution, systems maintenance, services, and related fields; the cross-disciplinary nature of transport logistics does not preclude graduates from employment in other industrial sectors, including the economic and social sphere.
