Commercial Logistics
The study programme provides graduates with a broad professional profile and comprehensive, high-quality knowledge enabling them to operate effectively in a multicultural environment, with the prerequisites for successfully managing a basic corporate logistics chain, i.e. a logistics chain consisting of procurement, supply, production, sales, warehousing, and distribution processes, with particular emphasis on operational planning and decision-making functions, record keeping, quality control, and ensuring the system and operation of this logistics chain at lower levels of enterprise management, with opportunities for employment as qualified managerial staff in various functional units of enterprise management or as independent professional specialists in specialised company units, primarily in positions within procurement logistics, sales logistics, distribution and outbound logistics departments, as well as as specialists in planning, strategy, and forecasting in commercial logistics; the cross-disciplinary nature of commercial logistics does not preclude graduates from employment in other industrial sectors, including the economic and social sphere.
