Utilization and Preservation of Earth Sources

The Utilization and Preservation of Earth Sources study program educates specialists needed to fulfill tasks of the state, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of the Environment, and the administration of the mineral wealth of the Slovak Republic in accordance with Article 4 of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic. The study program provides knowledge, abilities, and skills primarily in the field of utilization and protection of Earth resources, based on the results of basic and applied research. Language and communication skills create prerequisites for employment in managerial and economic positions at all levels of management, both domestically and internationally. At present, and especially in the coming decades, the importance of this study program is expected to grow, driven by the need to increase the economic and social efficiency of the utilization of all categories of societal resources at all stages of their processing, and consequently by the growing demand for specialists in this field.
