Renewable Energy Sources and Sustainable Energy

The study programme educates professionals required for fulfilling the tasks of the state, the sectors of the economy, the environment, and the management of the mineral wealth of the Slovak Republic in accordance with Article 4 of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic. The programme provides knowledge, abilities, and skills primarily in the field of the utilization and protection of Earth resources based on the results of basic and applied research. Language and communication skills create prerequisites for employment in managerial and economic positions at all levels of management both domestically and abroad. For the present and especially for the coming decades, an increase in its importance is expected, based on the necessity to enhance the economic and social efficiency of the use of all categories of societal resources at all stages of their processing, and consequently on the growing need for specialists in this field.
