Geology and Regional Development

The accredited study programme ensures the acquisition of both managerial and practical skills and competences in the design and application of mining and geological exploration methods, as well as in the independent processing of results and the organisational management of technical solutions for mining–geological and geological exploration activities. The nature of the study programme is designed so that graduates are able to actively participate in the application of new methods and systems in the field of mining geology and geological exploration, maintain continuous contact with technological and legislative developments in their area of practice, and continue their own professional development. After completing the bachelor’s study programme, graduates may continue their studies in the accredited master’s degree programme Geological Engineering.
