Economy of Earth Sources

The study programme will provide graduates with a broader professional profile and comprehensive, high-quality knowledge enabling them to operate in a multicultural environment, along with managerial skills and prerequisites for successfully managing an enterprise, taking into account the specifics of investments in Earth resources and innovative technologies for the extraction and processing of Earth resources, with opportunities for employment as qualified managers at higher levels of enterprise management or to work as independent professional specialists in specialized departments of enterprises, particularly in economics and marketing departments, financial departments, human resources management and development, and project management. The cross-cutting nature of the economics of Earth resources, as well as current developments in the global economy, the emergence of large corporations and corporate chains, and the resulting extensive movement of goods at the meta (global), macro (inter-company), and micro (intra-company) levels, demonstrate the need for and applicability of graduates in real economic practice and on the labour market in the Slovak Republic and across Europe, as this is a transparent study programme focused on managing all aspects of enterprise operations within business activities and management in general.
