Management of Earth Sources

The Earth Resources Management study program provides graduates with a broad professional profile and comprehensive, high-quality knowledge enabling them to operate effectively in a multicultural environment and to develop strong managerial skills. It equips graduates with the prerequisites for successful enterprise management while taking into account the specifics of sector-based management, including the use of multidimensional statistical methods of data analytics, corporate financial management, preparation of business plans, management of enterprise innovation activities, valuation of Earth resources, managerial accounting, and international aspects of business, with due consideration of the environmental aspects of enterprise activities. Graduates may find employment as qualified managerial professionals at higher levels of enterprise management or work as independent specialists in specialized enterprise units, particularly in departments of economics, finance, environmental management systems (EMS), marketing, and project management. The cross-cutting nature of Earth Resources Management, together with current developments in the global economy, the emergence of large corporations and corporate chains, and the resulting extensive movement of goods at the meta (global), macro (inter-enterprise), and micro (intra-enterprise) levels, demonstrates the need for and applicability of graduates in real economic practice, in the labor market of the Slovak Republic and across Europe. This is a transparent study program focused on managing all aspects of enterprise operations within business activities and management in general.
