Faculty IT Centre
The Faculty Computer Center (FPP) was established in 1993 in accordance with the statute of the Faculty of Mining, based on a proposal by the Dean, and was subsequently approved by the Academic Senate as an independent unit reporting directly to the Dean of the Faculty.

The department is responsible for:
- Technical support and operation of the faculty computer network,
- Performing tasks related to computing and informatics for the needs of the Dean’s Office,
- Administration of faculty servers,
- Full operation of the Dean’s Office computer workstations, including peripheral devices,
- Regular system and software maintenance of all administrative workstations at the faculty,
- Operation of faculty computer labs (PC5, PC-IT),
- Operation of faculty lecture halls with network and presentation technology support (I/1, I/2),
- Operation of the faculty’s Excellence Digital Center (EDC),
- Installation and upgrades of Microsoft software (OS and Office categories) under the Campus Agreement license,
- Administration of the Academic Information System (MAIS) for FBERG,
- Faculty websites,
- Technical and professional support with computing technology for institutes and other faculty departments.
