Ulysseus Innovative Pedagogy Info Day

🎯 Target group: TUKE teachers (including PhD students involved in teaching) with an interest in the topic. We also warmly welcome colleagues who have participated in previous Ulysseus events focused on pedagogy (Uni2Teach series, BIP, etc.).

Would you like to innovate your teaching, engage in international activities, and gain support for new pedagogical approaches? At the Ulysseus Innovative Pedagogy Info Day, we will present concrete tools and opportunities for developing pedagogy at TUKE. You will learn more about the shared methodologies of the Ulysseus alliance, funding opportunities for teachers, and experiences from international programmes. The event is an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to take their teaching to the next level and be part of a modern European educational space.

About the event

At the event, we will present concrete opportunities for developing modern teaching approaches through the European University Ulysseus. The event will focus on shared methodologies of innovative pedagogy, grant opportunities for teachers (Seed Fund for Teachers), as well as practical experiences from international programmes and mobility schemes. It will also open a discussion on further development of pedagogical activities at TUKE, including the planned Winter School of Innovative Pedagogy in Košice.

What can you expect?

• You will become familiar with the shared methodology for innovative teaching: Ulysseus Pedagogical Guidelines.
• You will receive information about the currently open internal grant call Ulysseus Seed Fund for Teachers V, which provides financial support for preparing courses based on the COIL methodology.
• You will hear experiences from TUKE participants of the Winter School of Innovative Pedagogy held in February 2026 in Helsinki.
• You will have space for engaging discussion on the presented topics.
• Information about the upcoming online matchmaking event for COIL collaboration within Ulysseus.
