We once again organised MiniErasmus “Check Out BERG!” – “Experience a Day in the Life of a University Student”! This time, we welcomed secondary school students specialising in surveying from the Secondary Technical School of Civil Engineering in Prešov. We introduced them to life at the Technical University of Košice, study opportunities at the Faculty of BERG, and the cutting-edge laboratories and state-of-the-art technologies used at our Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and GIS. The programme also featured an engaging lecture on tunnel safety and construction delivered by the Department of Safety and Mining Sciences, part of the Institute of Earth Resources. As a bonus, the students enjoyed a lecture and a tour of the FBERG Geoscience Exhibition. We hope we inspired the students and that we will be their first choice when they apply to university.
