The Chair of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of the Technical University of Košice, pursuant to Section 23(5) of Decree No. 205/2026 Coll. of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, implementing certain provisions of the Higher Education Act, hereby announces that on 2 October 2026 at 9:00 a.m., an inaugural lecture by Assoc. Prof. Katarína Pukanská, PhD., a member of the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Geographical Information Systems at the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of the Technical University of Košice, will take place in the meeting room of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty BERG, Technical University of Košice, 2nd floor, Letná 1/9, Košice – Sever.

The inaugural lecture is entitled:

“Innovative Approaches and Implementation of Contactless Measurement Technologies in the Field of Earth Resources Extraction and Processing”
