The Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of the Technical University of Košice, in accordance with Section 5(10) of Decree No. 246/2019 Coll. of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic on the procedure for obtaining the scientific-pedagogical and artistic-pedagogical titles of Associate Professor and Professor, announces that on 13 March 2026 at 8:30 a.m., an inaugural lecture will be held in the Congress Hall, Němcovej 1, Košice. The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Ľubomír Štrba, Associate Professor, Ing., PhD., a staff member of the Institute of Earth Resources of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of the Technical University of Košice, entitled: “Geological Heritage and Geodiversity in Tourism – Utilization and Protection of Earth Resources in Geotourism.”
